CITIES - sculptures and land art

Denver

Downtown Denver.
In the summer of 2006 I was invited by the city of Denver to submit a proposal for the implementation of site specific sculpture in the center of the city. It was an open application; 239 artists applied. The semi finalists who were selected to make a proposal were Dennis Adams, James Carpenter, Lucien den Arend, Martin Donlin, Janet Echelman, Larry Kirkland, Emanuel Martinez, Dennis Oppenheim, Tom Patti, Martha Schwartz and Daniel Winterich.
