STUDIOS

Staircase cabinets in my Holland studio - 1982

The Nieuwstraat 7 Zwijndrecht studio was designed by me during the seventies and was completed in 1982

I designed this studio during the second half of the seventies, going through various types, from rather conventional buildings, through a concrete shell construction and finally came to this box volume with a glass block inserted into it. The building permission was applied for but it took some time and maneuvers to get it. At that timeI discussed both plans with Truus Schröder-Schräder.

When, in 2003 my family and I moved to Finland, I thought to keep it as a pied à terre in Holland. But after having tasted the freedom of living in south east Finland I decided to put it up for sale in 2010/2011: studio - home for sale in holland http://www.atelier-te-koop.com
