Marconi Waltz - homage to Oud and van Doesburg
Lucien den Arend's
largest concrete sculpture was constructed on location in 1986. On the
corner of Mathenesserdijk and Schiedamseweg a seven and a half
meter square formwork was built. Three slabs of reinforced concrete were
cast on top of each other. Each weighs twenty eight thousand kilograms.
