SCULPTOR AT WORK

grinding the surface of my public sculpture at the Overschie Library in Rotterdam
working on divergence

In 1972 Rotterdam, Holland, started with the 'open procedure' for public art. New projects were exhibited at the public works department on the Veemarkt. Artists were invited to visit the exhibition and could then submit their documentation. In 1975 I was selected to make a proposal and got the commission.
