Dirksland | my site specific sculptures revisited (Lucien den Arend)

One of the locations on Goeree-Overflakkee, which was provided for my 1984/1990 designs for Highway S47 (now N215), was a one kilometer long strip of land, which lies between a drainage canal and the highway. It belongs to the provincial road department. It was a perfect opportunity for me to reenact an experience I had near Sheerness in Great Britain:
