Urho Lehtinen (1887-1982)

I bought this large oil painting in a second hand shop here in my hometown.

Until I receive better information about this painting, I will remain quite certain that this is the expulsion of farmers from Karelia after the Soviet Union was allowed  by Churchill and Roosevelt to take parts of Finland. Many of the Karelian people left voluntarily and burned their homes and farms so the Soviets could not use them.
