Land art and site specific sculpture in the urban setting. Environmental sculpture is an art form which uses the environment as its material. Concrete art is, like any art form, human made and is therefore geometric in essence. Public art is art which can be viewed and accessed by the public.

Zaanstad Holland and the sculpture of Lucien den Arend - his site specific sculptures ordered by the city of Zaanstad

1984/87 - painted steel - 4400cm wide

(situation when victory was installed in Zaanstad NL for fifteen years)

- previously installed in Koog aan de Zaan in the Dutch town of Zaanstad - The Netherlands (1984-2000) - its mayor R. Vreeman decided to comply with a ten year old petition drawn up by a citizen who didn't like the sculpture

studies are being made to relocate this work along the TGV-line (Train à Grande Vitesse the French high speed train) which will pass through Holland on its way to Amsterdam - near Bleiswijk in the province of South Holland it will run above the ground

victory - sculptures by Lucien den Arend - his Finnish and Dutch sculpture

TGV/HSL line location in Bleiswijk Holland is being studied as the new location for victory
