To
the west of the Walburg project, with
its meandering dike , a water reservoir has taken the place of a
ditch which separated Zwijndrecht from Hendrik Ido Ambacht. This used to
be a straight line. The new shoreline will follow the curve of the
meander. The five pollard willows will remain on a mound in the water.
