 one of our apple trees in bloom Penttilä used to be a farm, producing vegetables and fruit for hotels in Mikkeli and Helsinki. It is situated in the middle of the woods, next to a lake - Synsiö Järvi - in Kangasniemi, halfway between Mikkeli and Jyväskylä.
there are various cottages and studios on the grounds - they will be
available to artists as well as visitors who just want to find a peaceful
retreat in the sunniest corner of Scandinavia -
