Apeldoorn
The municipality of Apeldoorn commissioned Lucien den Arend to make a proposal for a sculpture to be placed on the playground of a new elementary school. The head of the school did a project with the students, studying and photographing the changing shadows at different times of the day. About twenty five years later the sculptor was in Apeldoorn and visited the location. From an open space the whole area had changed to to a wooded one.The location had completely changed.
